Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Position Summary:
As an Infrastructure Engineer at a large logistics company, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our server infrastructure while providing crucial support for IT projects. Join our dynamic team and be part of our journey to deliver exceptional logistics solutions globally.
Responsibilities:
Ensure operational stability, security, and high availability of core infrastructure platforms, including Windows and Linux server estates.
Develop and deliver technical solutions aligned with the infrastructure strategy.
Support the Development Team with back-end applications.
Administer VMware vSphere and infrastructure compute architecture.
Manage O365, Azure platforms, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Maintain security patching across the infrastructure per vendor best practices.
Monitor and maintain all backup and recovery systems.
Manage and maintain virtual desktop infrastructure, including Citrix Application and Desktop presentation.
Create and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures to high standards.
Ensure completion of IT operational tasks in organizational projects within scope, budgets, and timescales.
Plan infrastructure solutions and core IT architecture to meet business requirements.
Skills/Must have:
Minimum 3 years' experience in Technical Support or similar roles.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Excellent knowledge of Windows Server, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS.
Familiarity with Microsoft products including Office 365, Azure, and MDM.
Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
Experience using call logging systems to raise and close tickets.

Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 base salary per annum
