Primary Purpose of the Role:

• Responsible for supporting, configuring and building Systems IT infrastructures, installation on a variety of projects across the business.

Responsibilities:
Implementation, maintenance, optimisation and support of customer's systems supplied and supported by Thales.
The following are the hardware and software core elements:-

• Microsoft and RHEL Servers - physical and virtual
• Microsoft Windows 10/11 client
• Hypervisor technology
• Scripting - Powershell, Configuration as Code
• Moodle
• Server and client operating systems configuration
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Group Policies
• SCCM, MECM and WSUS
• Windows and A/V generic updates
• Providing 3rd level support and mentoring 2nd/1st line support teams
• Alignment with third-party vendors and their applicable software and hardware

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years relevant IT hands-on experience
• Networking hands on experience desirable
• Experience of and a strong understanding of IT security
• Experience of multi-site organisation
