Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £65k

We're currently seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to join us in a dynamic phase as we modernize our core infrastructure, prioritizing agility, automation, and reliability. A role that is very technically hands on with fantastic opportunity for progression to the Head of IT down the line!

Ideal candidates should possess hands-on experience in managing intricate infrastructure projects and coordinating ongoing support activities. Additionally, you'll manage a team of Infrastructure Engineers across multiple sites and remote locations.

Your role involves maintaining a strong technical acumen, leading engineers in their daily tasks, and ensuring seamless collaboration with third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

* Supervising the support, provision, and enhancement of group IT infrastructure.
* Creating project plans for complex technical endeavors and coordinating activities within specified timeframes and budgets.
* Directing a team of skilled Infrastructure Engineers for project delivery and ongoing support.
* Managing infrastructure and systems monitoring tools across the organization.
* Developing relevant KPIs to gauge infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and quality.
* Ensuring high service quality and availability for Infrastructure services, and effective handling of support requests.
* Aligning infrastructure expenditures with budgetary constraints.

Technical Requirements:

* Designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure.
* Managing virtualized environments using Hyper-V.
* Configuring and administering backup solutions, such as VEEAM.
* Supporting and troubleshooting Office 365 environments.
* Collaborating with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
* Monitoring system performance and ensuring uptime and reliability.
* Conducting regular security assessments and implementing necessary measures to safeguard infrastructure.
* Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
