Form of workAn award-winning urban design and landscape practice are looking for an Associate Environmental Planner to join their team based in one of their 8 offices across the UK. They are expanding their Planning Service working on major infrastructure projects as well as renewable energy projects too.
Responsibilities:
* Lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects through NSIP, DNS and TCPA planning processes
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Offer expert advice about potential setbacks in the planning process regarding the surrounding area and natural environment
Skills and Experience
* Excellent understanding of Infrastructure Planning and DCOs
* Demonstrable experience appraising issues, opportunities and risk to inform early project development and pre-application engagement and consultation
* Preparing documents and coordinating and submitting complex Infrastructure Planning applications
* Experience in Environmental Impact Assessment
* An interest in business development
* MRTPI accredited
