The key responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
- Carry out mould tool changes safely, efficiently and to specification.
- Set Moulding Machines, robots and processing equipment to deliver conforming parts at target production rates.
- Identify and correct moulding defects and process issues through setting changes.
- Optimise Moulding Machine and related equipment conditions for best performance.
- Identify and report tooling and machine issues requiring maintenance.
- Support production operators and shift leader(s) to achieve required production outcomes.
- Other production duties as may be reasonably required.
- Work safely at all times, in full compliance with our Health & Safety Policy and rules
- Work in a collaborative, professional and respectful way with all colleagues at all times

- Work in a collaborative, professional and respectful way with all colleagues at all times
- Experienced and trained in Injection Moulding Machine setting to at least full Setter level (PTIC level 2 or equivalent) or preferably higher Technician level (PTIC Level 3 or above)
- Recent hands-on experience of changing tools, process start-ups and shutdowns
- Can confidently operate machine robots (ideally including Wittmann, Sepro &/or Haitian)
- Familiarity with the properties and processing behaviour of polymers, ideally including PC, ABS, PA, PP and POM
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Some understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques
- Familiarity with analytical/diagnostic tools (SPC, 6S, SMED etc) would be a plus.
