People Solutions are working with an established Manufacturing company based in the Trafford Park area of Manchester, recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Setter.
Working the following rotational shift pattern of:
Monday to Friday: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 06:00

Day to Day Duties
- The successful Injection Moulding Setter candidate will carry out tool changes effectively and safely in the Injection Moulding areas of the business
- As an Injection Moulding Setter it is your responsibility to ensure Injection Moulding processes can achieve targeted scrap and efficiency levels, on new and existing products
- To be able to work well within the technical Injection Moulding setting, processing & optimisation team
- As Injection Moulding Setter you will be required to carry out tool and material trials
- Basic machine maintenance and trouble shooting
- To drive continuous improvements ensuring product quality is maintained & good working practices are adhered to.
- To liaise with all members of the department to ensure operations run smoothly
- Ensuring that key performance indicators on tool changing are achieved.
- To ensure Health & Safety rules are maintained
Essential Skills
- Have demonstrable experience within Injection Moulding manufacturing as well as mould setting and processing skills
- A working understanding of the manufacturing industry and quality guidelines
- A dedication to Health & Safety within the workplace
Desirable Experience
- Available to start as soon as possible
- Experience within Plastic manufacturing would be a benefit
