Are you an experienced Manager in fast paced Logistics environment? Can you lead, manage and develop effective relationships whilst still focusing on the best operational and commercial delivery? We are looking for an Inland Depot Manager who will help facilitate our growth trajectory by creating, delivering and supporting our operational strategy to be a Supply Chain integrator. The role will need an exceptional leader with an intimate knowledge of inland operations and the ability to build strong partner relationships. Reporting into the Area Head of Delivery (Fulfilled by Maersk) the successful candidate will play a leading role in the growth strategy of Maersk. Specifically the Inland Depot Manager will: Collaborate with Operational Partners in the development of strategic goals and long-term operational plans and performance. Set and agree targets for operational efficiency and increased productivity and provide leadership and support in their achievement. Identify opportunities to increase capacity through process analysis, data collection and interdepartmental collaboration Lead the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies and enable a culture positive to change and modernisation Provide transparent and clear communication to the business against the delivery of the operational strategy Work with partners, product, execution and other departments to identify and support new products launches and customer onboarding Lead the mitigation of operational risks by developing a robust supply chain resilience/continuity plan Champion Equality Diversity and Inclusion across the location About You: You will be passionate about Supply Chain Logistics having gained extensive experience from managing operational teams within the sector. Experienced in people development, you can successfully demonstrate you have led on projects to commercial performance. You will thrive in an environment where you are given significant autonomy and respond to this with quick decision making judgement and transparency of communication to all levels of the business. Experience and competencies: Extensive operations’ management experience in a similar environment Successful in leading and managing change within a Logistics Supply Chain environment Results-oriented with proven experience in using data to make sound judgements and create positive outcomes to performance Flexible and adaptable in dealing with new and challenging situations Excellent employee or supplier relations experience Exceptional inter-personal and project management skills Clear and transparent communication style Sound decision making skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
