Job summary Come and join the Imperial SuperConnector! We are creating new pipelines for entrepreneurs, and we want you to help us. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Imperial SuperConnector projects and Imperial Enterprise Lab’s activities including one-off events, workshops and flagship programmes for our community of enterprising students. You will be part of an energetic and passionate team who support the growth of new entrepreneurial ideas from our talented science, engineering, medicine and business students. This role will allow you to coordinate and support the team on a range of activities to support their implementation and impact. You will be a member of the Incubation Services Team, in the Imperial Enterprise Lab, which has a remit across the College to provide services for staff, students, alumni and companies based in Imperial’s White City Incubator.  With over 340 incorporated ventures (and more not yet at incorporation stage) there isn’t space to list all of the impactful startups we have helped build, but you can read some success stories here.  Since 2019, over 40 IP staff spinout companies have been created, each one based on distinctive technology. They have raised over £80m and provide employment for over 500 FTE. Duties and responsibilities Support the operational delivery of Enterprise Lab activities, and identify, engage and oversee internal and external resources required for their successful delivery Develop and coordinate communication tools, including online and off-line, to support knowledge and experience exchange, utilising social media, and creating materials and supporting activities Coordinate internal and external facing events for both participants and supporters of Imperial Enterprise Lab activities  Support the development and production of creative Imperial Enterprise Lab activities with high quality content to attract the very best participants Support, engage expert suppliers, both internal and external to the College, to support the develop and deliver complex intellectual content and events Coordinate and support the pipeline of potential applicants, the selection of programme participants and delivery of all programmatic activities Ensure invoicing and administration in a timely and professional manner Establish feedback mechanisms with participating students, contributors and collaborators, monitoring their satisfaction, and responding quickly to operational challenges and arising needs or concerns Create an atmosphere of excitement, implementing and delivering continuous improvement to retain fresh and relevant activities that remain attractive and grow in perceived quality among current and prospective participants Essential requirements Evidence of continuous professional development Experience of working in Innovation and Entrepreneurship support at a level suitable to facilitate credibility and positive relations with staff, students, alumni, and external partners Project coordination experience at a level conducive to delivering a high-quality education and professional development programme in a world-class institutional setting Experience in supporting the successful delivery of outputs engaging and directing complex groups of suppliers, colleagues, and collaborators Organising, planning and delivering both student orientated and partner engagement activities successfully, e.g., small (10 person) and large (100 person) events Well-developed organisation, coordination skills with a strong, independently driven delivery focus Successful at working both in an informal team environment, as well as within a formal structure Strong communication skills, written, verbal, to ensure clear effective contact for a contemporary student and alumni audience Effective listening, interpersonal skills enabling to build rapport quickly with staff, students, alumni, and corporate stakeholders Further information Should you require any details please contact Candice Middleton candice.middleton@imperial.ac.uk
