Partner with SME’s from the business and from DDAP & TECH teams on specific improvement initiative(s) to translate generic business needs into clear business specifications and tangible value creation, monitor progress of delivery and ensure end to end adequation of the DDAP product before final release to the Business.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Drive the initial assessment and prioritization of incoming business requests, leverage business/technical network and knowledge to proactively refine and document business requests as per need.  

  • Work under the guidance of the Business architect and/or DDAP Sub-team lead(s) to refine complex business demand into clear user specifications/success criteria with associated value and prioritization, documented and contracted with the business. 

  • For assigned improvement initiatives, be the voice of the business SMEs within DDAP & Tech and act as project manager to ensure in time in full delivery from a DDAP end to end perspective.  

  • Partner with DDAP sub-teams & TECH to generate technical solutions to business needs, organize agile iterations and regular demo sessions to ensure DDAP delivery remains aligned with ongoing business expectations.  

  • Monitor progress of delivery of assigned improvement initiatives and support Scrums/DDAP team lead(s) to proactively identify and solve related risks and issues.  

  • Assess adequation of DDAP product delivery with business expectations (i.e. success criteria agreed) before final release. 

  • Partner with Business SMEs to support effective rollout of DDAP product and provide evidence of value realization to the Business Architect.  

  • Work on any assignment as directed.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, life science or technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in process design and continuous improvement. 
  • 5+ years in a Pharmaceutical/R&D environment
  • 3+ years in project management
  • Experience with Agile

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Proficiency in business process modeling combined with technical literacy (Project planning systems, reporting and analytics solutions, data management, etc.).  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, strong stakeholder management with various seniority level.  

  • Strong experience of project delivery and change management, preferably within an Agile environment.  

  • Ability to design and lead the development of solutions to meet business requirements in a user centric environment.

  • Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable technology requirements. 

  • Ability to solve problems with thoughtful use of knowledge, information, and networks in a flexible way and to be successful in a matrix environment encouraging an enterprise thinking mind set. 

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, to develop credibility with colleagues within and outside GSK 

  • Experienced in Pharmaceutical R&D business.

  • Certification(s) in Agile, project management and/or Change management is a plus.
