What is the Insurance Analyst Apprenticeship Programme:
On this 3.5 year programme you’ll be based within our insurance team in Corporate Finance, who are responsible for financial planning and reporting including technical accounting. Insurance is a team of 3 responsible for addressing all insurance queries arising in the business units, identifying, and assessing insurable risk and engaging with internal and external stakeholders to manage those risks.
Our insurance department is the only in-house insurance expertise and is a subject matter expert support for the wider organisation.
This opportunity will develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours and will provide you with the awareness and capabilities required to accelerate your career in insurance.

Training, development and support for you:
The learning on this programme is wrapped around and incorporates daily work, this is supplemented by ‘off the job’ development, which on average accounts for 6 hours per week. Throughout this apprenticeship you will be working towards achieving an advanced diploma in Insurance = ACII.
All the training content will be provided via Davies digital platforms enabling 100% remote delivery. This incorporates:
- Virtual classroom learning & workshops
- Online Learning
- 121 caching & support from industry practitioners
- Professional Qualification Support
As part of the apprenticeship you will be supported in your learning and development throughout the scheme. At the end of the apprenticeship, you will be given the opportunity to apply for a wide range of roles across EDF, the future is yours for the taking!

Where you’ll work:
The apprenticeship will be based in our London office, 90 Whitefield street at least three times a week with the rest of the time working remotely.
To join our team you’ll need:
- Three A-Levels (128 UCAS points) and five GCSEs at grade C (or 4) or above, including English and mathematics (or equivalent)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- A passion for starting a career in Insurance.
Our Assessment Centre will be held virtually on Thursday 18th April.
