We have exciting opportunity to lead Care at Home Services in West Dunbartonshire HSCP as the Integrated Operational Manager. These services include Care at Home Services, community alarms, sheltered housing and reablement delivered by West Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership.
Working closely with the Head of Health and Community Care, the ethos of compassionate leadership, continuous quality improvement and clinical and care governance is nurtured and encouraged, delivering a high standard of person centred care.
As Integrated Operational Manager you will provide strong leadership which inspires others: empowering teams to work towards effective, safe and person centred care. You should demonstrate experience of managing and leading services and have a proven track record of managing people and evidence of improving care for service users.
The post holder is responsible for effective and efficient management of the workforce, ensuring an appropriate environment for all staff to function to their maximum potential and for ensuring that the organisational policies, procedures and guidelines including that of the professional and othe relevant bodies are implemented and adhered to.
You should have considerable post qualifying experience within one or more of the central functions of the service and registered with (or be willing to be registered with) the SSSC, and be able to demonstrate relevant experience at a Grade 9 / Band 7 level within HSCP or other relevant community based services.
The offer process for the successful candidate will include a discussion on whether the candidate may opt to be employed under NHS terms and conditions or under Council terms and conditions depending on current/previous employment taking into account factors such as continuous service etc.
Requirements
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here.
Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
Responsibilities
