SalaryThe group seeks an Associate with 1 to 4 years experience in a full range of Intellectual Property matters, particularly in the life sciences and chemical sectors.
Requirements:
- 1-5 Years IP experience, particularly in areas of patent preparation & prosecution
- Ph.D. / Advanced degree in Organic Chemistry.
- USPTO registration, or preparing to take the exam within the next few months is necessary.
- Experience with biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, batteries, fuel cells, chemical devices, medical devices, chemical engineering, materials science, and biotechnology is strongly preferred.
- Admission to one of the office jurisdictions listed.
- Strong academic record at the JD level, and technical.
Their patent team excels in global prosecution, portfolio development, due diligence, licensing, and providing expert opinions on invalidity and non infringement. Comprising former USPTO examiners, industry researchers, and in-house attorneys, the team collaborates closely with clients' scientists, technicians, and researchers, bringing deep expertise and advanced degrees in biology, chemistry, and engineering to the table.
The good faith salary range for this position is $195,000 - $240,000.
