As a charitable registered provider of short-term social housing operating in Southend-on-Sea, we believe everyone should have a home of their own. At times individuals may require support from HARP and other agencies to maintain a tenancy and avoid a return to homelessness.
HARP has an exciting new recruitment opportunity for 2 Intensive Housing Support Workers who will join a newly established team to provide a service across 2 new projects.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating and providing a personalised, Recovery Informed Service to people with complex needs within a therapeutic environment.
To be considered for this role, you would need to be flexible, empathetic, inclusive and resilient. Even better, you would have excellent interpersonal and communication skills too.
Though not essential by any means, you have preferably worked with vulnerable clients in a housing or support setting before. A Full Driving Licence is desirable.
Closing Date: Friday 1st March (Midday)
Shortlisting: Monday 4th March
Interviews: Tuesday 12th March
HARP will provide you with support and training to carry out your role effectively, and to develop your career. Our benefits package includes 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays with an extra day of leave awarded after 5 years' service.
HARP participate in an auto-enrolment pension scheme through The People’s Pension. Where eligible, you and HARP will each be required to make a contribution to the pension scheme. Employees will also become members of the non-contributory HARP Death In Service scheme. Full details of the schemes can be given on request.
