Interim Management Accountant
Location: Hull (Hybrid working, 2-3 days in the office)
Type: Temporary c3-6 months 
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

We are working with a fantastic business in Hull who are looking for a Qualified Accountant to offer support during a busy year end and audit period. Reporting to the Group FC, this person will play a pivotal role in the Group's financial operations and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards are maintained and assist in preparing statutory financial statements for year end. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering monthly, interim, and annual reporting cycles, including international business consolidation.
• Completing month end closure and generating financial reports to pass to senior management
• Ensuring adherence to IFRS accounting standards.
• Preparing documentation and working closely with external auditors
• Supporting interim and year-end Group audit processes.
• Facilitating the integration of acquired businesses into the Group.
• Managing the filing of statutory audited accounts for UK legal entities.
• Supporting tax functions and managing treasury operations.
• Undertaking ad-hoc projects assigned by senior management

Experience Required: 

• Must be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with minimum 3 years post qual experience in a similar role
• Immediately available to start
• Good technical accounting skills and an understanding of IFRS and UK/US GAAP
• Excellent communication skills to explain accounting situations to business partners across the business
