Trial Balance Consulting have been tasked with sourcing an experienced Assistant Accountant to support an established business with their accounting lifecycle. The post will be offered out initially on a temporary basis and will possibly offered out on a permanent basis for the right candidate.
Based in Ivybridge, just outside of Plymouth, this company operates in the manufacturing sector within a niche but steady market. They are a medium sized business with a small and friendly administration team.
Reporting in to the Finance Manager, you will need to:
- Process purchase and sales invoices
- Add receipts and payments on to SAGE
- Monitor and Action emails landing in the Accounts inbox
- Credit Control
- Bank and Credit Card reconciliations
- pre-payments and accruals
- VAT Returns
- Payroll Administration and processing
- VAT returns
- Management Accounts
This is an urgent requirement and would suit candidates who possess strong organisational skills as well as strong systems experience. You may be coming out of practice or be looking to step up from a varied Accounts Assistant post.
