Now recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a minimum 15-month fixed term contract based at Malton, you will be working within the central group finance team to ensure all the month end duties are completed by the deadline for all sites.

- Accruals and prepayments
- Processing journals
- Nominal ledger reconciliation
- Intercompany recharges and reconciliation
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Assisting with external reporting including national statistics
- Supporting wider finance team with relevant financial information
- Supporting projects with analysis and reporting as required
- Proven background in a similar position
- Experience within a fast paced finance function
- IT Literate including Excel
- Minimum AAT qualified is ideal
