Robertson Bell are supporting a public sector organisation to recruit an interim Finance Business Partner to support the delivery of a high profile, international, Capital Programme.
This role is expected to last 12 months with weekly travel required to a London based office.
As this is a newly created role, there is likely to be an element of fluidity to the responsibilities however, the focus will be supporting opwerational stakeholders, tasked with delivering the programme, with all aspects of their financial management including budgeting, forecasting and cost monitoring.
Further to this, as the project enters new phases of it’s lifecycle, it is likely business cases will need to be drawn up and assurance given to these, as well as regular updates provided to parties with a vested interest in the success of the project.
Our client is seeking a qualified Finance Business Partner with experience supporting the delivery of sizeable Capital Programmes. Excel skills will be crucial in this role, as will strong communication skills and the ability to challenge stakeholders on financial matters.
Public sector experience is desirable but shouldn’t be seen as essential.
The role is likely to fall within the IR35 legislation, so the successful candidate would be paid via an Umbrella Company.
