Interim Category Manager Engineering / Construction £600pd OUTSIDE
Role: Interim Engineering & Construction Category Manager
Rate: £600 per day (Outside IR35)
Client: Major Utilities organisation
Location: Hybrid working from home and in Brighton.
Duration: 6 months.
An interim Category Manager (Engineering and Construction) to join a major Utilities organisation's Capital Projects Teams in Procurement and Commercial.
This Team has significant, large, multi-year, project spend mapped out, across Capital Delivery and Construction Procurement. You will develop and implement Demand and Category strategies, and engage with senior, internal stakeholders to understand requirements and volume.
This role will drive continuous improvement and best practice, monitoring performance and compliance.
The role offers the opportunity to make a real, sustainable and resilient difference to people's lives.
Requirements:
- Strong Procurement / Sourcing experience.
- Utilities or Public Sector experience.
- Experience in Engineering and Construction.
- Strong stakeholder management to a senior level.
- Ideally, experience having set up a PFI-type Project, or having worked on a major projects.
