Interim Finance Manager - Ni Legal Firm

MCS Group is delighted to be assisting a key client source an interim Finance Manager.

Legal sector/Professional services - Belfast City Centre

12 Month FTC - Immediate need.

As Interim Finance Manager, working alongside the Financial Director you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring regulatory compliance in transactional activities
• Maintaining financial control
• Reporting firm performance
• Project work
• Management of the Transaction Team
• Firm Operational Performance Reporting
• Capacity & Turnover budgeting
• Payroll budgeting
• Time reporting (weekly & monthly)
• Departmental reporting
• Preparation of statutory accounts & coordination of annual audit
• Tax Compliance
• Annual PSA & P11D reporting
• Preparation of annual tax schedules
• Assist in preparation of partner tax provisions
• Submission of UK and Irish VAT returns
• Prepare daily cash transfers
• Other duties as required

Essential criteria:

Education

Chartered Accountant

Experience working within professional services - Essential

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to use initiative
• Extremely competent working with MS Office and accounting systems

Desirable – Auditing background

12 months Fixed Term Contract
