As a Finance Manager, it's rare to find a job where you know that every day your work is truly appreciated. Understanding that what you do makes a real impact on individuals and their families. Getting to finish each day with a sense of pride and a warm glow. Here, working for one of Teesside's most well-known and loved charities, this is exactly how you'll feel.
As Interim Finance Manager you'll join the charity for an initial period of six months. If you're successful and the charity continues to flourish, you may be offered a permanent role, if that's what's of interest to you.
You'll manage a team of four staff who take care of transactional accounting. Taking responsibility for the month-end accounting and analysis, you'll act as a finance business partner, supporting departmental managers by producing expense reports from Sage. Supporting the Finance Director with budgeting and forecasting, there's a chance for you to develop your skills in this role.
To perform well, you should be comfortable preparing management accounts and reconciling balance sheet entries. Ideally, you'll have experience using Sage and supervising staff.
