Interim Financial Accountant

Role: Interim Financial Accountant
Type: 18 month Fixed Term Contract
Salary: 50,000 - £60,000 per annum 
Location: Bradford - Hybrid working (100% remote achievable with flex) 

Elevation Interim are excited to be working with a well known business based in West Yorkshire who are looking to recruit a Qualified Financial Accountant on a long term contract. This role will be sat with the Financial Reporting team and will deliver efficient financial reporting services across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide essential financial information for management, statutory, and regulatory accounting.
• Ensure financial control and collaborate with external auditors for timely and high-quality reporting.
• Serve as an expert on IFRS, FRS, Companies Act, and other disclosure requirements.
• Act as a key contact for Company Secretarial and Legal departments.
• Support resource management within the Financial Reporting team.
• Collaborate with the wider Finance team to minimize year-end issues and adjustments.
• Offer quality control over external financial reporting.
• Provide technical finance input to ad hoc projects.

Requirements:Essential:

• Must be qualified (ACA or ACCA) with minimum 2 years post qualification practical experience in applying accounting standards.
• Experience in statutory reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP reporting, including recent and proposed changes.
• Available to start on short notice and commit to long term interim role
