SalaryReporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:
- Offering strategic financial guidance and support throughout the organisation
- Leading the financial accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely completion of processes (daily, monthly, annual)
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensuring Fixed Asset Registers are reconciled to the finance system
- Correctly allocating Restricted Funds as received
- Processing the payroll journals for employing entities
- Making sure VAT returns are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Conducting analysis and reporting to drive informed decision-making
- Overseeing the continuous improvement of finance processes
What you will need:
- Immediate availability
- To be a qualified accountant – ACCA / CIMA / ACA
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Financial Accountant /
- A strong understanding of Excel (including Vlookups and pivot tables)
- Experience in the charity sector is desirable but not essential
