My client, a leading charity with a turnover of £100m+ is seeking an interim Financial Accounting Manager to bolster their finance team on an initial 9-month temporary basis.

The main responsibilities of the interim Financial Accounting Manager are:

• Producing and delivering the statutory accounts
• Manage the year end close, month end and the external audit process
• Managing 2 qualified financial accounts and 2 finance officers
• Routine month end activities including reporting and commentary and journals

My client is looking for:

• Experience of managing a team of 2+
• Charity accounting (SORP) experience is desirable
• A qualified accountant in ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent)
• Advanced excel skills and the ability to manipulate data

Based in Central London, my client offers hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office and 3 from home for the whole duration of the contract, and the potential for the role to go permanent.
