Based: Wigan - must be available to be on-site 1 day a week
Salary: up to £70k perm equivalent salary. Consider day rate £350-400
My client are a rapidly expanding services business who are in the midst of a sale process. This position is required to join the CFO leading the small finance team, involved in sale due-diligence and to oversee all finance for the business - circa £15m turnover
Role:
- Ensuring smooth month end management accounts production
- Due diligence for the business sale over the next 3 months
- Leading small team of 2 to ensure all finances delivered accurately and timely
- P&L, balance sheet, cashflow management
- Working with the CFO on projects as required
- Managing large reconciliations and data sets, high volume low value transactions
- Excel work including financial modelling and data management - strong excel skills essential
Experience:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- Strong data and Excel knowledge - experience managing large data sets
- Due-diligence experience advantageous but not essential
- Able to start immediately and be present 1 day a week from Wigan, the rest remote
