Blackwaters are recruiting an experienced Interim Financial Controller to run and develop a lean, diverse finance function within our SME Midlands based client.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the FC is responsible for day to day controls and reporting and in leading the team. The role involves (but is not limited to):
- Management and financial accounts preparation
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Financial planning and analysis
- Management of key finance processes and procedures
- Maintaining effective cost controls
- Development of relationships with key stakeholders
- Driving departmental systems improvements
Candidates must be qualified with a minimum of 5 years in a similar Managerial role. You must be a hands on Accountant with recent experience in preparation of financial statements and management accounts. You must be a good communicator with strong leadership capabilities.
