My client is a long-established family run business not too far from Bluewater shopping centre.
Job Description
As Financial Controller your responsibilities will include:
- Producing draft financial statements for Group companies
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash flow management including improving the current cash flow forecasting process
- Working with the Accounts Assistant on all AP and AR procedures
- Ensuring tax compliance and reviewing VAT submissions
- Payroll
- Introducing a more formalised structure for the preparation of the management accounts on a monthly basis
- Managing the Accounts Assistant
The Successful Applicant
My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant with hands-on experience at the Financial Controller level. You must be able to demonstrate how to bring best practice to the role and have some previous experience of process improvement work.
This is initially a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role, due to start in February.

£60,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience
