Interim Group Accountant

Your new company
A listed business based in London, is looking for an audit trained contractor to assist the Group reporting team during a period of change. Reporting with a brilliant top 4 trained Group Financial Controller and working closely with the CFO and the wider FP&A team.
Your new role

• Prepare monthly Group Management accounts and commentary.
• Own the Group multi-currency consolidation.
• Prepare an annual report and accounts, including drafting of the financial statements and all notes.
• Coordination of the external audit of the accounts, including the Group audit planning process and provision of audit evidence for the consolidated accounts.
• Preparation and filing of statutory accounts for UK subsidiaries.
• Ensure the Group is compliant with all current accounting developments and that relevant Group stakeholders understand the impact of any changes on the business.
• Ad-hoc projects as and when
  

What you'll need to succeed
You would have trained within a top 10 firm, and have strong audit, accounts and technical accounting experience. Happy in the detail but also supporting senior finance professionals within a listed environment. This role will offer the opportunity to become involved in a wide range of projects.
