Your new role
I am delighted to be partnering with the NHS based in Surrey. You will be taking on a key Financial Controller role on a contract basis for c6 months. The role has a very high level of flexibility and can be based across several locations in central Surrey, but they have indicated for the right candidate, they would be open to a fully remote appointment.
Your role will be focused on
- Run financial accounting and reporting including overseeing a small, experienced team
- Deliver statutory accounts
- Ensure a clean balance sheet
- Internal audit
- Support a wider ledger systems change
- Cash management of the budget
What you'll need to succeed
Alongside your accounting qualification, you should be a proven finance leader with NHS experience overseeing financial/statutory accounting. You should be a confident team player and deadline driven.
