Description
- Working closely with the Head of Procurement & Contract Management to ensure resources are deployed appropriately
- Accountable for leading on all aspects of people commissioning activity including managing, administering & coordinating all activites associated with the commisioning cycle
- Defining 'what good looks like' & developing procedures to implement as well as sharing policies, procedures & guidelines
- Brokering a service - encoureages a more consistent & informed way of brokering services for users, using market insight & knowledge abut providers who can meet their best needs
- Creating of Service design/ specification documents
- Decommissioning existing services where applicable & identifying needs to replace
- Assessing the needs of users to understand requirements needed to meet desired outcomes
- Analysis of the current product/services to understand any gaps or changes required to meet desired outcomes
- Operating a strategic review cycle, reviewing the organisations aims & priorities periodically, developing & implementing a methodology to track performance against overall goals
- Ensuring all prgorammes align with strategic priorities & core policies & where appropriate leading cross-departmental teams to deliver high quality outputs
- Scoping, leading & managing cross-cutting projects on complex & high-profile areas of strategic & partnership engagement working closely with teams across the Directorates as well as with regional & national stakeholders inclluding the integrated care system
Profile
- Able to deliver a whole of life approach to commissioning by experience gained through commissioning in Adults & Children's social care settings
- Able to demonstrate a broad and thorough understanding of social care Commissioning and the role of commissioning in a whole system approach to care
- Significant experience of the commissioning of care and support within an integrated care system
- Able to demonstrate a commercial approach to negotiation and the management of key contracts
Job Offer
- £500 - £600 per day (inside ir35)
- 6 months contract
