Interim Head Teacher

Hays Leadership are currently supporting a special school in the West Midlands which requires an Interim Headteacher for a period of 12 to 18 months.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Interim Headteacher to lead and support the school through a period of significant change. The successful candidate will be available to start in either Easter or September and will have a proven track record in school improvement. Ideally, a full-time interim role with a competitive day rate on offer.
Responsibilities:

• Provide strong leadership and management to the school.
• Ensure that the school is meeting the needs of all students.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure that the school is meeting its objectives.
• Manage the school's budget effectively.

Requirements:

• A proven track record of successful school improvement.
• Experience of working in an SEN school.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to inclusive education.
