Interim HR Business Partner
6-12 month contract - Financial services sector experience is essential.
Based Surrey and London on a hybrid basis (50:50)
£70-80k plus benefits depending on experience
This well-known Financial Services provider with offices in London and Surrey is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a 6-12 month period as the organisation experiences significant change.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the senior leadership team and their associated managers, providing expert guidance, coaching and support on all HR related matters
- Regulatory - Understand and adhere to the requirements of the Senior Managers Regime, including the FCA Conduct Rules and PRA Conduct Standards.
- Be accountable for the identification, reporting and treatment of conduct risks within functional area.
- Culture and Engagement - An attractive employer brand has been established, but needs to be enhanced through the development of the organisational DNA, fostering inclusivity to support our values.
- Responsible for bi annual employee engagement survey's action planning and appropriate employee based forums.
- Performance Management - Facilitate and support the annual performance management process and associated annual review of compensation and benefits.
- Management Development - To support the Head of HR in building a 'talent pipeline' to ensure succession planning and the embedding of leadership and change management skills.
- Development - To develop and deliver TNA's and planned development delivery.
- Working with Talent Development teams to make best use of content already available and utilising initiatives underway in the wider group, whilst also working with external providers and developing our own internal content to meet development needs.
- Responsible for the creation of the People Development Academy as well as co-ordination of the apprenticeships.
- Employee Relations - Actively guide managers on differences in employment legislation in employee relations cases of disciplinary and grievance, sickness absence and poor performance.
- Provide discreet and professional support to managers in the event of any employee relations issues. Review existing policies and ensure we are complying with legislation
The successful candidate will be available within 1 month, and possess change-orientated HR Business Partnering skills gained within the Financial Services sector. A competitive salary of 70-80k plus benefits is available depending on experience. You will quickly demonstrate added value to ensure HR has a positive impact within the company, and possess the ability to define and embed best practice in a sensitive way.
