Interim - Hse Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a construction company who are looking for an Interim HSE Manager to join their site in Bristol.

This is a fixed term contract position lasting around c18months

We are looking for a dynamic HSE Manager who is comfortable getting stuck in to the role, has a CI mindset and can spot problems and come up with initiatives to solve them.

Reporting into the Contracts Manager, the HSE Managers responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the construction sites deliver the appropriate standard and that the working conditions of the company are safe
• Adhere to Health and Safety at the heart of the business culture & that organisational and individual attitudes and behaviours lead to zero harm
• Make sure that the business operates in adherence with all legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Keep up to date with changes in current legislation
• Work collaboratively with other functional heads

We are looking to speak with HSE professionals with following skills

• Previous Construction, Housebuilding or similar background
• Excellent academic background, with a degree or equivalent
• NEBOSH Diploma 
• Chartered Member of IOSH - ideally
