Job Description
- Responsible for identifying a portfolio of high impact procurement initiatives/opportunities
- Responsible for establishing ways of working, communication and governance
- Work towards the objective of significantly improving commercial and cost capability
- Liasing with and managing a diverse stakeholder group including each of the hospital trusts, ICBs, NHS England and other stakeholders within the region, including procurement, finance, and technical experts
- Competent to negotiate with procurement leads, finance directors, medical directors, and technical experts to enable collaborative working
- Reporting on progress to the programme Steering Group and programme Board, including seeking advice and guidance from the Procurement Leads Collective.
- Accountable as the programme support for the Procurement Programme & responsible for delivering to this mandate set by the programme lead
The Successful Applicant
- Experienced with creating commercial strategies
- Knowledge and experience of working within the NHS
- Experience working within Estates & Facilities and Medical/Surgical Equipment projects
