The role
As a Programme Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will have the opportunity to work at the front of delivering some key UK defence and security contracts by leading our teams through exciting and sometimes challenging situations.
Day to day, you'll:
- Oversee and deliver complex programmes across a number of our engineering contracts
- Provide both operational oversight and management to our delivery teams, often leading Senior Project Managers, in the timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services to our customers
- Play a key role in identifying opportunity for contract growth, through building strategic relationships with our customers, directly contributing to our ambitious future strategy
This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and will be based on site at Ashton House with hybrid working from home arrangements.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. Essential experience of the Programme Manager:
- Considerable experience in the advanced application of Project & Programme Management techniques and application of robust governance and assurance measures
- Strong financial management experience, ensuring high levels of profitability
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of contract and commercial management
- Delivering solutions with a diverse team of both internal resource teams and external supply chains
- Identification and leveraging contract growth opportunities
- Leading and managing integrated project teams within a matrix environment - providing strategic direction, motivation and performance management
Qualifications for the Programme Manager:

- The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
