SalaryAlexander Daniels are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant on behalf of a large distribution business near Burntwood on a full-time basis for a 12-18 month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for delivering month-end results and analysis for multiple divisions within the business providing high quality data, information and reports to enable the financial position to be clearly understood by financial and non-financial managers within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts in line with month-end timetables
- Prepare and post accurate accruals and month-end journals
- Produce month-end reports for review and provide supporting analysis that details variances to forecast and budget in revenue and costs
- Balance sheet reconciliations and analysis
- Reconcile intercompany balances
- Make recommendation for process improvement and assist with implementing positive change
The ideal candidate will be a part qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ ACCA) or Qualified by Experience who is used to producing management accounts to tight deadlines within a busy and fast-paced finance department. You must have the ability to manipulate data efficiently and use models to present results to finance and non-finance users, therefore advanced Excel and communication skills are essential.
