Interim Senior Finance Manager - Sap B1

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager with expertise in SAP Business One (SAP B1) to oversee our FTSE 250 client's finance department on an interim basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial operations, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role requires an individual with excellent ERP skills (ideally SAP B1) , the ability to manage Group relationships effectively, and, most importantly, the ability to explain movements from one period to the next in a crisp and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly documents monthly/yearly processes (O2C,P2P,R2R, Stock), etc., and assesses these processes to identify any required improvements. This includes.
  • Improving/creating a month-end controls schedule
  • Building a month-end close file to support the management accounts & underpin workings for the year-end external audit.
• Serves as a key business user and subject matter expert for the ERP/SAP system and group reporting system.
• Fully responsible for all indirect actual costs, prepares discrete and YTD analysis and takes charge of preparing 12mth rolling forecasts for all indirect costs.

Key Requirements

• Ideally experience in SAP B1. However experience with SAP is a must, as well as understanding underlying processes of SAP.
• Controls focused, experienced in statutory accounting, supporting group in preparation of stat accounts.
• Someone who understands how to put management accounting together, understands stock usage, NRG, units of measure.
