Our Client

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a market leading and values driven HealthTech business who sit in the women's health space as they look to bring in an Interim Management Accountant on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for the role to go permanent thereafter should the fit be right.

Our client, have scaled rapidly to become a frontrunner in the womens health space and have seen continued growth, reaching in excess of £25 million turnover as of last year. They are now focussed on continuing sustainable growth across Europe and the rest of the world.

The Role

The role will take ownership of the day-to-day finance activities including financial reporting and analysis, supporting across the business from a financial perspective, producing monthly management accounts, and KPI reporting.

Reporting into the Finance Director, the ideal candidate will be equally adept at working individually as well as part of a team. They must also have a willingness to take new challenging responsibilities when required which will mean the successful candidate must be adaptable and have a versatile character.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Monthly Management Accounts
• Support year end audit.
• Maintain all month end reporting, weekly cashflows, and KPI Reporting.
• Prepare P&L accounts, budgets, cashflows, varies analysis, and commentaries when required.
• Suggest improvements to financial information systems.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage Stock reporting.
• Submit Quarterly VAT returns.
• Review accounting entries to ensure accuracy.

What we need to see (Essential skills)

• Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE.
• Strong Technical accounting knowledge.
• Proficient user of Excel.
• Excellent business partnering and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication skills.

Bonus experience

• Previously used Microsoft Dynamics Nav and Microsoft Power BI.
• Previous experience in the HealthTech or Healthcare sector is advantageous but not essential.

Day Rate: £200 - £250 per day

Location: London, Hybrid (2 days in office per week)
