Interim Finance Manager

Handle are currently working with a rapidly growing TV production company, who are looking for an Interim Finance Manager. Working closely with the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will help run the whole finance function.

Key responsibilities -

• Preparation of monthly management accounts reporting packages
• Assist with cashflow forecasting
• Assisting with year end and statutory reporting
• Oversee bank reconciliations and accounts payable processes
• Balance sheet reconciliation- query investigation and resolution
• Identify process improvements to enhance financial controls and reporting
• Providing business analysis and assisting with month-end reporting
• Review cost reports on a regular basis, including current spend and projected costs and meet at regular intervals with heads of finance Management of UK payroll process
• Ad-hoc project work

Candidate requirements:

• Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• Have worked in media or media production is highly advantageous
• Previous management accounts experience is essential. Good understanding of accounting concepts and management accounting
• Experience in using general ledger and financial reporting systems
• Ability to cope in a busy and demanding work environment with regular & conflicting deadlines
