Interim Finance Manager required my client a local authority. Reporting to the Head of Finance Adults Social Care and Health and to oversee a team of finance professionals within the highly valued Finance service that is responsible for preparing the accounts, budget monitoring and forward financial planning of the Council’s activities. As a member of the management team, you will contribute to the development of financial policies and processes; take a leading role in driving change to improve our service and operate at a strategic level whilst managing the operational aspects of your team.
You will be a self-starter who has the ability to pick up tasks with minimal support and experience of working for an authority under financial pressure and validating a savings programme. You will be CCAB qualified with Adult Social Care Finance and local authority experience
