Large public sector organisation in Liverpool currently undergoing a period of change.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll provide management accounting support to the wider business. Duties will include:
- Prepare and maintain revenue and capital budgets
- Liaise with budget holders on all financial matters
- Produce and present financial information, budget monitoring
- Undertake budget monitoring meeting with budget holders
- Budget management training of budget holders
- Support the closure of accounts and production of statutory returns
What you\'ll need to succeed
You'll be an experienced Management Accountant, available to start immediately or at short notice.
What you\'ll get in return
Initial 6-month contract with the potential for an extension or to become permanent.
