About Our Client
I am working with a prestigious Global Charity based in London who have a presence in close to 150 countries offering comprehensive education and support to vulnerable people across the world.
Job Description
- Lead the development and implementation of procurement policies and strategies.
- Advise procurement and supply chain operations in line with company's objectives.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure alignment of procurement strategies.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks to ensure operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Maintain procurement records and prepare reports.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Policy Manager should have:
- Strong understanding of procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
- Experience working with a large charity would be beneficial.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data.
- Knowledge of relevant procurement software and tools.
