Interim Senior Group Finance Manager | Central London (hybrid 1 day per week in the office) | Up to £85,000 (or day rate equivalent) | Global Consumer business | 6-month FTC
A Senior Group Finance Manager is required to work for a leading private equity-backed consumer business based in Central London on a 6-month contract. This is an opportunity to join a business that achieved record-breaking sales in 2022 and has continued to perform exceptionally well in the market in 2023, resulting in multiple store openings and international expansion in 2024.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be joining at a key team to support the business through year-end and audit. You will take ownership for the group reporting across 8 international countries. The role will help manage a small team and will be involved in a variety of projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the production of the annual consolidated statutory group financial statements under IFRS
- Working as the main point of contact for the group reporting and management accounts for the board and private equity group
- Supporting with the management and development of a team of 2 direct reports
- Ownership of the weekly cash reporting to the business including management of FX rates and hedging
- Involvement in a significant number of projects including an IFRS16 project, improvement of systems and financial controls and ESG reporting
Skill set required:
To be considered you must be an ACA/CA Qualified Accountant (top 10) with experience owning the statutory reporting across multiple international entities. Previous experience working for a medium to large sized international business where you have dealt with FX rates is essential. You will be a proven people manager with the ability to upskill and develop a team. Knowledge of hedging, share based payments and cash flow management is desirable but not essential. You will have an eye for process improvement and have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to liaise and influence the wider finance team and senior management.
In return, you will be a part of the senior management team from day one in what is a high-achieving business. The role could go permanent, should you be successful in the initial 6 month period.
