Management Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently working with a leading manufacturing firm as they look to bring on board an experienced Management Accountant to join them on a full time, permanent basis. 
The successful Management Accountant will report into the Finance Director and provide extensive support across monthly accounts preparation, as well as work closely with the wider senior management team, including Sales and Operations, to analyse business performance and provide financial information. 
Key duties include: 

• Supporting the transactional team and Assistant Accountant 
• Preparation of monthly management accounts pack
• Balance sheet reconciliation 
• Management and analysis of the P&L including variance analysis with commentary 
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Bank reconciliation and cashflow management 
• Business partner for the division providing valuable insight to key stakeholders
• VAT returns and payments 
• Produce reports and analysis as requested
• Support with the development of key finance processes and control systems 

Requirements / advantageous criteria: 

• Qualified ACCA, CIMA OR ACA or qualified by experience
• Experience producing monthly management accounts
• Balance sheet reconciliation experience 
• Sound transactional knowledge
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs
• Excellent communication skills
