Interim Senior Procurement Manager £650pd
Role: Senior Commercial Procurement Specialist
Client: Esteemed Government organisation
Rate: £650 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Duration: 6 months
Location: Oxfordshire
An Interim Senior Procurement Manager for a central government organisation, to advise the Board and provide both strategic and operational support to the Head of Procurement.
You will design and implement commercial strategy, and carry out robust supply market analysis. Leading on 3-4 categories, you will carry out Supplier and Contract Management, including supplier negotiation and selection, contract drafting and toolkit creation. You will manage and drive delivery of Commercial activity and the Procurement pipeline.
You will provide management support by managing, mentoring and supporting the team's 7 procurement specialists, as well as developing training initiatives.
Requirements:
- Senior Procurement manager, highly experienced in end-to-end procurement in the Public Sector.
- Blended background of Commercial strategy creation and driving Procurement delivery.
- Experience leading complex, commercial programmes.
- Strong experience with the Public Sector regulatory framework.
- Prior experience training and mentoring.
