Interim Systems Accountant

Trinity House Group is working with a fast growth business based near Woking that urgently require an interim Systems Accountant. This role will be on a temporary basis for 6 months. The role would suit an individual who has experience of working in a fast paced, highly acquisitive business. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a very impressive senior leadership team as they implement new reporting tools.
The Role
As the interim Systems Accountant you will support the Head of FP&A and senior finance team to ensure the successful implementation of IBM planning analytics. The role will work very closely with the FP&A team to ensure the successful delivery of the annual budget and forecasting and development of new processes. Duties will include:

• Assist in the development, design, and implementation of IBM planning analytics.
• Assisting in the creation of monthly forecast and budgeting
• Maintain and develop the finance systems roadmap.
• Assist internal finance with queries relating to new processes.
• Drive process change and identify areas of improvement.
• Identify and improve process efficiencies.
• Analysis and presentation of performance data
• Ensuring all accounting systems and controls are continually reviewed and developed.
• Adhoc finance duties to support the group function, such as financial reporting, group consolidation, treasury management.

The Candidate
As the successful interim Systems Accountant you will have/be:

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) or relevant working experience
• Extensive experience of IBM planning analytics - Cognos/TM1
• Ability to identify and improve processes.
• Experience of working in a complex group structure

The Benefits Package

• £350pd - £450pd umbrella
• Hybrid working - circa 2 days in the office and the rest WFH.
