We are looking to connect with Mechanical Engineers based in Dublin seeking a dynamic role in semiconductor, data centre facilities, and cutting-edge manufacturing projects. This role would be a permanent position offering hybrid working across a 40-hour work week.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a vital role in a multi-discipline team, contributing to technically challenging and rewarding projects. Your responsibilities will range from full system designs under supervision to coordinating with engineers and designers, and clients

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering tasks for construction documents.
• Take charge of full system designs on large projects and smaller projects independently.
• Collaborate in real time with other disciplines for seamless designs.
• Ensure adherence to CAD/BIM standards and conduct quality reviews.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to colleagues.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and field activities.
• Contribute to proposals, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Mentor project engineers and designers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technology.
• Assist in continuous improvement of systems and procedures.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in building services/Mechanical Engineering.
• Industrial/commercial design experience.
• Semiconductor experience preferred.
• Experience in Mech/HVAC systems design.
• Knowledge of start-up and commissioning processes.
• Detail-oriented with excellent initiative.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Suite).

Essential Skills:

• Familiarity with Mech/HVAC design standards (UK/EU).
• Ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines, clients, and vendors.
• Proficiency in a 3D BIM environment.
