We are currently seeking an Internal Account Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Watford. Your role will be to maximise profitable sales from inbound enquiries, developing & retaining customer relationships of a portfolio of customers across the North of England.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Contribute towards hitting company revenue and profit numbers, measured daily
- Being responsible for handling incoming sales enquiries; identifying & quoting the sales opportunity, winning the order in a professional manner.
- Up-sell and cross-sell, with a keen focus on product mix
- Relentless follow up of all quotes until completed
- Accurately record customer interactions & data in CRM.
- Grow customer spend in dedicated region.
Requirements
- Dynamic, motivated, and hungry for sales success
- Proven telephone based sales experience
- B2B industry experience, ideally within the plant-hire/tools/fixings/construction/industrial products
- Track record of over-achieving targets
- Strong phone selling skills and active listening
- Ability to upsell and cross sell relevant items to increase margin
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Building effective working relationships with internal and external customers
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to influence and negotiate
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience of working with technical or complex information
Hours: 07:30 - 4.30pm (Mon-Fri)
