Internal Auditor (Manufacturing Operations)

The Role

The Company is continuing to invest significantly in its business, people & processes in which this role has come about as part of the recent growth of the business and its future ambitions. This role is to sit within Manufacturing Operations reporting to the Manufacturing Director. Key responsibilities include-

• Play a pivotal role in providing continual improvement to the quality management systems and processes within the business
• Assist with the generation, execution and review of the audit plan to ensure the applicable ISO standards deployed are met & exceeded
• Conduct the internal audits in accordance to the plan and compile audit reports and action plans
• Follow up on any action plans to ensure completion of agreed items in a timely manner and in accordance to the agreed plan
• Help to identify trends within the overall audits, suggesting recommendations for improvements and or containment
• Provide suitable metrics and reporting on the QMS/business performance and inform the business of progress
• Assist in re-inforcing the culture of continuous improvement and sustainable performance across the business
• Assist in hosting external audits

What you’ll need to succeed

You will have career to date experience where you can demonstrate the following knowledge and competencies-

• Auditing of Quality Management Systems within a business
• Auditing to ISO19011 (Guidelines for Auditing Management System)
• Demonstrable drive to improve operational efficiencies
• Good communicator - both written and verbal
