Job description

Knight Frank is the leading independent property consultancy in the UK offering agency and professional advice across commercial, residential and rural sectors.

Established in 1897, Knight Frank now comprises a global network of over 240 offices.  Based in the global HQ at Baker Street, the UK internal communications team provides strategic internal communications advice to the UK business, which is comprised of three divisions – Residential, Commercial and Business Services.  The team is responsible for formulating and implementing internal communication strategies and campaigns to inform and engage our UK teams.  The team is part of the wider Marcomms (Marketing & Communications) team.

The Internal Communications Executive will work with the Head of Internal Comms, Residential, who currently oversees the UK and the wider Internal Comms team, on plans to support both UK and divisional business priorities.  They will collaborate across the UK to prepare creative internal communications approaches to inspire and engage teams, helping make them relevant for the appropriate divisional teams.

The Internal Communications Executive will work closely with colleagues from the Marcomms Delivery and Production (D&P) team, such as our Channel Planners and Creative team, to deliver successful internal communications campaigns and activities.

The Internal Communications team is in the process of evolving, so this role presents an opportunity for the right candidate to get involved in the breadth of activity happening across our successful UK partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of the Internal Communication team which advises the business on strategic internal communications approaches to engage the relevant audiences.
  • Support the creation of UK-wide plans and activities and ensure joined-up, consistent messaging on key topics.

  • Create internal communications plans and campaigns to involve, engage and motivate colleagues to deliver business priorities, working with the wider internal communications team and the D&P team.
  • Work with the D&P team to ensure a clear briefing process to enable the smooth and timely delivery of assets.
  • Maintain our plans on Monday.com, our Marcomms planning tool, to provide accurate information and visibility across the UK about plans and activities.
  • Support change and transformation programmes across the UK and for the divisions as needed.
  • Support high profile activities such as town hall meetings, leadership updates, content for events and cascades.
  • Maintain useful data to support Internal Comms approaches, such as engagement stats (opens, views, click throughs) to provide insight on the effectiveness of messages and campaigns, and opportunities to improve.
