Position: Internal Communications Executive

Salary: Up to £28,000
A leading distributor in the UK and Ireland, with over 30 years of experience, is currently seeking an Internal Communications Executive to join their expanding branding team. This role will be pivotal in fostering a purpose-led culture within the organization, ensuring engagement and alignment across various functions and locations.
Purpose of the Role:
The Internal Communications Executive will collaborate closely with the Communications and Brand Director to execute the Internal Communications strategy across the entire business, spanning the UK, Ireland, and Benelux. With a focus on creativity and engagement, you will be responsible for overall communications with approximately 600 colleagues through diverse channels and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance internal communication channels, including intranet, email, newsletters, events, and team briefings, both online and offline.
- Assist leaders in implementing effective communication frameworks within their respective teams.
- Maintain an internal calendar highlighting key events, news, and organizational activities for widespread visibility.
- Partner with key stakeholders to address critical business topics such as health, safety, and well-being.
- Oversee the Intranet, ensuring content relevance, regular reviews, and author training.
- Coordinate internal events programs to drive engagement and collaboration.
- Promote visibility and participation in charity initiatives among colleagues.
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager to execute internal branding activities and support the People Team in maintaining an updated employee database for targeted communication.
Essential Requirements:
- Proficiency in Internal Communications channels and their optimal utilisation.
- 1+ years’ experience in an Internal Communications focused role
- Experience using an intranet system
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of brand management and the role of Internal Communications within it.
- Creative flair with a keen eye for design.
- Positive, proactive, and solution-focused approach.
- Demonstrated experience in managing third-party relationships and engaging with senior stakeholders.
